Any suggestions for our little miss farts a lot.....she isn't being fed anything other than her wellness food and a wellness cookie treat at bedtime. She just farts all the time, and clears the room (or the car) each time. Any suggestions? help?

Well her uncle is called Marty Farts!!!! (Gus) Try GasX or Beano. The food might be a bit rich for her.

Busker is related to her also and his farts can clear a room. Everytime he gets anxious about something he farts.

So it's a hereditary issue, lol. Kinda' runs in the family....she sits next to me on the couch and I can "hear" her little farts....it's so funny, then I have to turn the fan on....lol. I guess I will just call her my "little farts a lot"....Thank you for your input.

Heehee... Roxie likes to toot whenever she hops up on you to stretch. She jumps and puts her front paws on you and you almost always hear a pufffft of air. They are mostly silent but can definately be deadly.

My Kaos is never more than 20 feet away from me and I've never heard ... or smelled ... any gas from her!!! I guess I'm really lucky because she even sleeps next to me every night!

hello everyone, this is not about farts but possibly a far more serious issue. i just heard from some very reputiable dog people that the swiffer floor cleaning products can be poisonous to canines and lethal as well.
by the way in case no one has mentioned it gasx is great for gas.

I would ask your vet regarding the Swiffer products as being harmful to pets if it is a concern. I never believe anything I hear or read in emails until I ask my vets or Gramma Jane's opinion. I know there is a lot of inaccurate info that gets spread around and it is challenging to keep up with what is truly safe vs unsafe. I tried to do a litte research on the subject and came across this article: http://www.snopes.com/critters/crusader/swiffer.asp If there is an actual scientific study out there to confirm swiffer as being harmful, I would really like to see it too. I just haven't been able to find anything that supports the idea. Thank you for the warning though.

I am wondering just how reputable these people are Noreen. There is nothing, and I mean nothing, wrong with Swiffer products. This hoax has been going around for years and some people actually still believe the rumor rather than researching it. Thank you so much Anne for taking the time to find the Snopes article on it. Our vet clinic, and Noreen knows Annamarie very well, got bombarded when the rumor first came out. There is no truth to it what so ever. So swiff away everyone. It is a great gadget.
