Prada is such a little stinker..  Poor Sizzle has to compete against two of the prettiest girls out of Olde Fashion that I've ever seen in Prada and Dorie.  Her time will come though!

Yeah... it's just not a fair fight with Prada in the ring.  She's just too darn cute and the judges can't help but love her.  She was cute out there too but Sizzle looked fantastic in that ring today... too bad the judge didn't notice.  Oh well... Sizzle will catch up.

There is no telling how many miles you will have to run while chasing a dream but I know your amazing personality, beauty and grace will be rewarded!  We love you Sizzle and your sisters too.  Congrats all around to the OFB's!

Gramma... you forgot to say that the Prada-dada went Best of Winners and Best of Opposite sex over a special...much like my little Dada-Dorie did her second show... The Black Pack is on Attack!
Sizzle is a beautiful dog! Her time will come... I acutally have not seen such a nice Bred-By Bitch class in a long time... and the Dizzle holds her own! Don't worry...if Prada keeps this up, she will be staying home with Jimmie and Dorie pretty soon... Don't worry Gramma... the black pack will all still finish in this lifetime  hello2

Bogie's in the house

What a great day! It made Bogie proud.  notworthy When I told him about it, he rolled over onto his back and said "Yeah, just scratch me". He gets so emotional about these things.

Congratulations all round to Prada-Dada.  I like the Dada bit.  I hope those of you in the state of Wisconsin and Northern Ill realize how fortunate you are with the shows and basset entries.  I'm jealous!!!!!!!!!!

Here, we have not seen a basset entry, other than Maude and Fanny since the speciality in March except for two weekends.  We are making our own entry for one point and the two girls trade wins for that single point.  It's not pretty.  At this point it is a minimum of 5 hours travel to the nearerst show with more that one point and at best it might be two points.

After Nationals, we might have to see if Gramma Jane has room in the inn and extra hands to show two more girls providing the entries are paid.

Sizzle will sizzle at nationals where knowledgeable basset judges will hopefully recognize the quality she possesses!

Yeah Sizzle was definately on fire and should have taken it but politics played a role so it's the same old thing.

Doo-Runn play time

Siz is not the only one that got screwed on Sun. Rodman went rwd to the major in dogs (and was showing like a pro) lost to Brian.  Then I saw what Rodman lost to at the Mon. show. Brian's dog wasn't showing with his tail up and looked awful and Brian created a big stink in the ring to the judge (due to the noise a construction worker was making), and the judge said she couldn't do anything about it......but he won anyway!!!! Gee, imagine that!!!!!
